NYC Department of Buildings Site Safety Manager's course
Length: 40 Hour Course
Course Description: This 40-hour course covers Local Law 45/83: Filing for Site Safety Manager; Chapter 33: Safety of Public and Property during Construction Operations; the Department of Buildings Manual for Site Safety Programs; Reference Standard RS-19; Subchapter 5: Fire Protection in Construction Operations; Local Laws 52, 11/98, 61/87 involving netting during construction operations and the periodic inspections of exterior walls and appurtenances Local law 11/98.
The course fee includes all materials, a review prior to the exam, and a free consultation on how to file the background documents with the Department of Buildings.
NYC DOB Site Safety Manager Refresher

Course Description: The NYC Site Safety Managers Refresher program is an all-inclusive program that allows you to complete the 7 hours of continuing education that is required every three years when renewing your license.
OSHA course:

Course Description: The OSHA Outreach Training Program is OSHA’s primary way to train workers in the basics of occupational safety and health. The OSHA 10 Hour Outreach Training Programs were developed by the OSHA Training Institute with the intent to assist employers in training and introducing employees to the basic practices of identifying, reducing, eliminating and reporting hazards associated with their work.
This course will prepare you for becoming a Competent Safety Person, Registration for DOB's requirement for Registered Superintendent and Site Safety Coordinator.
At the end of this course you will receive a Completion certificate and an OSHA issued wallet card. This course will be given by a N.Y.C. Licensed SSM and Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer.
OSHA course:
Length: 30 Hour

Course Description: The course is a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in the construction industry. Specifically devised for safety directors, foremen, and field supervisors, the program provides complete information on OSHA compliance issues.

Fall Arrest Systems:

Course Description: Our Fall Arrest Systems course sets forth those requirements and criteria for fall protection in construction workplaces covered under 29 CFR part 1926. It is important to note that the provisions of this subpart do not apply to employees making an inspection, investigation, or assessment of workplace conditions prior to the actual start of construction work or after all construction work has been completed.
Suspended Scaffold:
Length: TBO
Course Description: Employees who perform work while on a scaffold must be trained by a qualified person to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used, and to understand the procedures to control those hazards. Training shall include: The nature of any electrical hazards, fall hazards, and falling object hazards in the work area; The correct procedures for dealing with those hazards; The proper use of the scaffold, and the proper handling of materials on the scaffold; The maximum intended load and the load-carrying capacity of the scaffold; and Any other pertinent requirements.
NYC DOB User Supported Scaffold:
Length: 4 Hour

Course Description: The 4-hour course is designed for individuals using supported scaffolds, with elevations greater than 40 feet, on sites where a permit has been issued for the erection, dismantling, repair, maintenance or modification of a building or structure. Completers will be issued a Supported Scaffold User Certificate.
Course Description: The 32-hour course is for individuals who are involved in the erection, dismantling, repairing, maintaining, or modifying any supported scaffold, with elevations greater than 40 feet, on sites where a permit has been issued. This regulation also applies to those individuals who provide assistance in the above tasks. Completers will be issued a Supported Scaffold Certificate of Completion.
